As part of a broad £6 billion package of investment and export wins, the announcement — published on gov.uk — names Occuity among a select group of innovative UK businesses helping to deepen economic ties between the UK and India.

This recognition underscores the global relevance of Occuity’s groundbreaking technology and reinforces our mission to revolutionise healthcare diagnostics with non-contact, handheld optical devices. With the recent CE Marking of our PM1 Pachymeter and the upcoming launch of our AX1 Axiometer, our inclusion in this announcement further validates our growing international impact.

A Shared Vision for Accessible, High-Quality Eye Care

India presents a major growth opportunity for Occuity as we expand into key global markets, and our partnership with Remidio — a leader in portable ophthalmic imaging — is central to accelerating access to our technologies. Together, we share a vision to deliver accessible, high-quality eye care through cutting-edge innovation, combining Occuity’s diagnostic expertise with Remidio’s strong local presence and market insight.

Dan Daly, CEO and Co-Founder of Occuity, commented:

"Remidio’s strong reputation and proven track record in India make them the ideal partner to introduce our ophthalmic devices to clinicians and patients. We look forward to working closely together to support the advancement of non-contact eye health technologies."

Showcasing at APAO 2025

Our collaboration was most recently demonstrated at the 40th Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) Congress, held in New Delhi from April 3–6, 2025. At the event, Remidio officially launched the PM1 Pachymeter to the Indian market and showcased the AX1 Axiometer — our upcoming axial length measurement device designed to support the global fight against myopia.

The response from eye care professionals and industry leaders at APAO was overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing the significant potential for Occuity’s devices to support clinical excellence and patient outcomes across Asia.
