The PM1 Pachymeter is a revolutionary handheld, non-contact device that enables the swift and accurate measurement of central corneal thickness in just a matter of seconds. Unlike traditional handheld ultrasound devices, the PM1 requires no consumables and offers an unparalleled patient and practitioner experience. Its cutting-edge technology eliminates the need for multiple contacts with the cornea, making it a significant advancement in ophthalmic diagnostics.

Vasileios Skountis, Managing Director at BIOMED HEALTHCARE SRL, stated, "We are thrilled to partner with Occuity and be part of introducing the world’s only non-contact handheld Pachymeter PM1 to the Greek & Cypriot markets. We’re confident that using their revolutionary non-contact, handheld platform, Occuity have an exciting pipeline of future products including the AX1 Axiometer for Myopia Management, and later the Indigo for delivering a personal use, optical, non-contact, glucose meter. We look forward to working with them."

On the distribution agreement with BIOMED HEALTHCARE SRL, Mark Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer of Occuity said,

"We have been speaking to Vasileios throughout the development of the PM1. He has shown a clear interest in our technology for some time and is clearly passionate about our devices and their unique properties and selling points. So, I am delighted to be able to welcome BIOMED HEALTHCARE SRL as a partner and see a prosperous relationship ahead."
