Occuity Named Finalist for Hard Tech Investment of the Year at UK Business Angels Association

Updated: Jul 7, 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Occuity has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Hard Tech Investment of the Year award at the UK Business Angels Association Angel Investment Awards 2023. Sponsored by Innovate UK, this award recognises the remarkable founders and early-stage investors who are revolutionising research-intensive and capital-intensive sectors such as health & life sciences, engineering, and manufacturing, thereby driving the future economy.

Comment from Dan Daly, Occuity Co-founder and CEO:

"We are truly honoured to be selected as a finalist for the Hard Tech Investment of the Year award at the UK Business Angels Association Angel Investment Awards 2023. This recognition validates the hard work and dedication of our team at Occuity, as well as the trust and support we have received from our early-stage investors."

At Occuity, we believe that our innovation has the power to transform healthcare and improve the lives of millions. Our handheld non-contact optical instruments have the potential to revolutionize the way various chronic health conditions are managed and diagnosed. Being named a finalist in this prestigious award category highlights the significant impact our technologies can have in driving the future of healthcare.

The Awards ceremony took place at the Science Museum, London on Thursday 6th July 2023 and showcased the success & determination of the angel and early-stage investment community.

Although we were honoured to be named a finalist, we, unfortunately, on this occasion walked away empty-handed. Nonetheless, we are proud to have been recognised by such a prestigious organisation. Being nominated is a testament to our team's dedication and talent.

A big congratulations to all the winners!
