Gavin Sandison's childhood and adolescence were entirely disrupted by unexplained symptoms.
It jeopardised his education and he wound up in hospital without the energy to get out of bed.
Diabetes was eventually diagnosed before he was able to manage the disease and complete his degree.
However, diabetes was like having another job that involved pricking his finger up to 25 times per day to understand his sugar levels.
Ultimately, Gavin became a physicist, engineer and, an investor in Occuity.
We spoke to Gavin to find out why he decided to invest in Occuity and what he looks for when making an investment.
