So Tuesday was a day of celebration; a day to celebrate the achievements of women around the world - in the past, the present and of course, in the future. Each year, International Women’s Day aims to raise the profile of women around the world and acknowledge the immeasurable contribution that they make - and the impact that they have - on every aspect of everyday life. It was great to see my timeline on LinkedIn and Facebook and Instagram fill up with shout-outs from and about lots of different, but equally inspirational women from all walks of life.
This year, the theme for International Women’s Day was “break the bias”, where we are all urged to call out every instance of gender bias and inequality that we see around us daily - and ultimately strive towards a gender-equal world.
