A closer look at the development of the PM1 Pachymeter

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

Yesterday, Our CEO Dan Daly had the pleasure of presenting Occuity on the Seedrs Bitesize pitch, where we had a lot of interest, questions and subsequent investment. This means we have now overfunded by 152% and have reached over £2.5 million in investment.

After the presentation, he was asked a few questions about our first product - the PM1 pachymeter - so we thought it would be good to give you all an insight into some of the work we are doing right now. He headed down to the labs to have a chat with one of Occuity's mechanical engineers, Jamie Serjeant, about the work he and the team have been doing on the casing for the PM1.

We hope this gives you a better insight into the company, how we focus on quality, design, form & function to the extent we have developed our own unique material and ‘Occuity white’ colour. This attention to detail underpins all our work across the business, from optical design to electrical engineering and software development. With just a few days left now, if you're thinking of investing, please do.
