For the series “a chat with the team”: Kate Bugajska

We’re delighted to announce that our team has grown yet again with the addition of Kate Bugajska who joined as our Supply Chain & Goods-in Technician.
Kate has 5+ years of experience in supply chain and purchasing departments working in the mobile security and ophthalmic manufacturing industries. Where she was involved in maintaining the right supply of products and services, the quality standards of the operation, supporting control of operational spending and also building long-term supplier relationships.
Originally from Poland, Kate moved to the UK in 2004 and describes herself as having a "bubbly and friendly personality", taking great pride in the fact that she always tries her best to help those in need of support.

How have you found working at Occuity so far?
The atmosphere has been amazing. With a mix of office and home working, the team have been really friendly and it is a great opportunity for me to develop my skills.
What is your role at Occuity and why is it important?
My role at Occuity is Supply Chain and Goods in Technician - making sure all orders are placed and delivered on time, I look for urgent parts to avoid a production line stoppage. Creating great relationships with suppliers is an important part of delivering this.
Which project/device are you most excited about and why?
All three of the products that are presently in Occuity's product pipeline are really exciting and I work across all of them. So, I think they are all equally as exciting.
What do you think Occuity’s future will look like?
I think the company is growing very fast and will soon be a pioneer in the medical industry.
