For the series "a chat with the team": Joanna Jablonska

Joanna joined Occuity at the end of 2021, a very exciting time for the company! She has joined as our Production Manager where she is primarily responsible for the transfer of our technology across to our manufacturing partner, Surface Technology International (STI).

She is a highly accomplished Production Lean with 10+ years of manufacturing experience leading operations, contract, projects and productions. Joanna describes herself as an "analytical and independent self-starter with a history of success improving production processes by defining strategy and process improvement initiatives to boost operations within fast-paced environments".

Let's have a chat with Joanna to get to know her a bit better.

How did you get involved in Occuity and why did you feel it was the right thing for you?

I was approached by Derek with whom I had worked previously.

The main thing that made me fall in love with the Occuity was the family feel, lovely enthusiastic people and that the company is very young and already have a good structure in place.

What is your position at Occuity and why is your role important?

I’m a Production Manager responsible for the external company (STI) that will be building the PM1 pachymeter devices. It’s going to be our first product released to the market!

What excites you the most about your job and Occuity?

Variety of work. Fantastic company and people.

What do you think Occuity’s future will look like?

Bright and colourful with lots of sales and zero rejects.
